Strive to find more outstanding new design youth, use different design faces, convey different design concepts, create different new ideas, and explore more design possibilities. This is what the China New Design Youth (2020) annual selection wants of!
On September 16th just past, the Southwest Division Chengdu Station of China’s New Design Youth (2020) Annual Selection was successfully held. In addition to representatives from Oceano Ceramics and Guangzhou Design Week, there were also design Masters David Picasso and teacher Pang Xi came to help out, sharing their experiences and cheering up the young designers!
The highlight of the event, in addition to the speeches and sharing by the big names, was the on-site interpretation of design by the new design youth from Southwest China. After many new young designers were screened, the top 50 outstanding works in the Southwest Division were finally selected, and awards were given to these young designers at the Chengdu station event. These outstanding designers have also been qualified to participate in the competition and selection of the TOP100 designers in Guangzhou!

"Jane"
Designer: Luo Yading
Design philosophy: Design for life, live for design.
It can be seen from the design works that the designer integrated the minimalist style into the whole house design, and combined the delicate combination of dark patterns and solid colors in the color matching to highlight the subtle details in life. "The Wizard of Oz"
Designer: Han Chunlong
Design concept: Regardless of style, it will not be too avant-garde or outdated. It will always maintain balance in elegance and fashion.
Everywhere in the home reveals the vitality of light green. Combined with the combination of outdoor and indoor spaces, just like the title of the work "The Wizard of Oz", it seems to be approaching a dreamy forest, which is both fashionable and elegant, gentle and mysterious.
"Contemporary techniques to create a Chinese-style space"
Designer: Lan Fei
Design concept: Combine oriental aesthetics and contemporary technology to create a comfortable and modern aesthetic space.
The combination of wooden furniture and stone walls creates a high-end Chinese style. The walls, floors, tables, chairs and other furniture in the house are a good combination of oriental aesthetics and modern design home decoration technology, giving people a sense of calmness. And an upscale feel. The word "charming" naturally arises in my mind when I see this design.
"Streaming Light·Picking Colors"
Designer: Xie Aifeng
Design concept: When you are worried, squeeze out the purple light and worry alone; when you are bored, put out blue and green to fight; when you are happy, squeeze out red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue and purple. The flowing light and shadow, the overflowing colors, can't help but fade away as time goes by, picking up the myriad colors of life.
Color and lines are the biggest highlights and the most eye-catching aspects of this design. In all space designs, colors are used appropriately, ranging from calm blue to sweet pink, and paired with small decorations, it is like being in a dream. The three-dimensional geometric decoration makes the blank wall appear slightly more advanced, and the areas divided by lines also make the overall space utilization more efficient and make the space feel more open.
"Xiya"
Designer: Zhang Bingfa
Design concept: Design is a unique artistic element that shows a perfect quality lifestyle.
Elegance and purity are the first impressions when seeing this work. In the open environment, there are not many tones, mainly white and wood colors, which, combined with the interior mainly using water elements, set off a sense of elegance that returns to nature, giving the overall space a tranquil and vigorous atmosphere.
