On July 30, an exhibition of ceramic wine vessels from past dynasties collected by members of the Dongguan Collectors Association was held at the Image Humen Art Center. This exhibition will feature 72 fine ceramic wine vessels from past dynasties in China. It will end on September 1 and is open to the public free of charge. Citizens can closely appreciate the ceramic wine vessels that still retain their fragrance after years of baptism, and intuitively feel the extraordinary charm of Chinese ancient porcelain culture.
It is understood that the theme of this exhibition is "Fragrance for a Thousand Years", which is directed by the New Era Civilization Practice Center of Humen Town, Dongguan City, and jointly organized by the Municipal Collectors Association, the Humen Town Publicity, Culture, Sports and Tourism Office, and the Humen Town Federation of Literary and Art Circles host.
Chinese ceramic wine culture has lasted for thousands of years. It has a long history, is extensive and profound, is a witness to the development of Chinese civilization, and is closely related to people's production and life. The organizer stated that the exhibits in this exhibition span from the Majiayao heritage of the Neolithic Age, to the solemn elegance of the Han and Tang Dynasties, to the exquisiteness and splendor of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, spanning thousands of years. By displaying ceramic wine vessels, citizens can appreciate the unique charm of ancient porcelain culture, appreciate the cultural stories behind ceramic wine vessels, and taste the traditional aesthetics of the Chinese nation.
During the exhibition, the organizers also plan to hold a series of lectures and interactive activities. At that time, ceramic art experts and historians will be invited to explain to the public the production process, historical evolution and status of ceramic wine vessels in Chinese culture, further enriching the visitor experience.
